Did you know that before cotton became our state’s cash crop, and even before the pre-civil war Rice patties, founder James Oglethorpe attempted to create wine-country here?  While his attempts failed, recent endeavors have been much more successful.  Throughout the  North GA mountains, vineyards are thriving and this weekend is your chance to experience it all, for only $20!!!!!!
