June 23rd, 2009We’re sending you outside- the-perimeter and into the wild this weekend for the Dunwoody Nature Center’s Annual Butterfly Festival. An annual favorite, this event features discovery stations, crafts, food, gifts and a giant Greathouse Butterfly Farm tent filled with lively butterflies and beautiful flowers.
HOURS
DNC Members-Only Early Entry: 9:30-10:30 am
General Public: 10:30 am – 2:00 pm
ADMISSION
Members: $4 child/$8 adult
Nonmembers: $5 child/$10 adult
Children 2 years and under are free.
No advance purchase. Timed entry wristbands for Butterfly Tent issued at admissions, 150 per half hour – first come, first served. No refund or cancellation due to rain – event will take place as scheduled, rain or shine.

Grown-ups get a sneak peak at the Butterfly Tent as well as drinks and appetizers during the popular Monarchs & Margaritas! Proceeds benefit Dunwoody Nature Center. Admission includes 1 drink ticket and light appetizers. Advance purchase recommended due to sell-out likelihood; must be 21 years old to attend.
