Everyone who knows me knows I love my vino. My wedding was wine themed and my vacations revolve around where we can go for an incredible wine tasting experience. But my constant quest is where to find the perfect bottle of vino for under $10. Costco is my Go To warehouse for bargain wine. I find that typically the wines are several dollars less than they are at the grocery. The only downfall is that they don’t give you a case discount.
I am going to open this one up to our B in B audience for you to post your favorite wine label for under $10 and where do you buy it?
Please post a comment and let us know why you love your wine selection. And if you need some to try before you submit a review click here and visit the Wine Peeps.

July 10th, 2009Does it get more Atlanta than the Fox Theater and Coca-Cola?! Well these 2 local icons have teamed up again to bring us The Summer Fox Film Festival. Running 8 films between July 9th and 25th, this unique event is a “MUST DO,” and at the bargain rate of $8 a ticket!! Which is a small price to pay to enjoy the dramatic decor and old-timey feel. BUT, we Bargaining Betties don’t just want to bring you good deals, we provide GREAT deals, so follow this link for a BOGO ticket from Dave FM. And don’t miss the fun pre-show and wine tasting!
In an interesting twist of Recessionista fate, the Fox itself has a history of economic struggles, starting at its Grand Opening! The original the Yaarab Temple Shrine Mosque opened to the public just as the Great Depression began. After 125 weeks of talking pictures and elaborate stage entertainment, it declared bankruptcy! Since then, a turbulent history of city ownership, private management and NPOs have kept this legend alive. Its now up to us! So grab your friends and family for a one-of-a-kind Atlanta summer bargain!

May 8th, 2009As we all know (especially we, your loyal Betty Bargainers & REALTORS), the housing market has taken a huge hit in these turbulent economic times. Fortunately, we are seeing improvement, and economists predict, “the free-fall is over.” Still, the glut of Buckhead condos has fabulous units up for auction weekly! Sunday, May 17th, 40 residences at the Cosmopolitan at Buckhead will be up for auction, and this weekend, May 9th from 2-5 they will be hosting a Taste of the Neighborhood. This FREE event features food and drink from Justin’s, Ru Sans, CIROC vodka, il bacio, Coco Loco, Tin Drum, SIP The Experience, Aliyah’s Island Grill, F20, Fresh To Order, Wine Gallery + Market, as well as live music by GroovProject and the signature drink, the cosmo.
SO, even if you’re not in the market for a condo, stop by the Cosmopolitan and support local industry!

We love our Buckhead bargaining oenophiles, so this one is for you! We’re going to take you OTP, but, trust me, it’s well worth the trip!Did you know that before cotton became our state’s cash crop, and even before the pre-civil war Rice patties, founder James Oglethorpe attempted to create wine-country here? While his attempts failed, recent endeavors have been much more successful. Throughout the North GA mountains, vineyards are thriving and this weekend is your chance to experience it all, for only $20!!!!!! This Saturday, March 21st at 10am through Sunday at 6pm, the Wine Growers Association of Georgia is hosting its 4th annual Wine Highway weekend. Visit several vineyards, so wine tastings and take advantage of other site-specific specials all for $20! For more information, visit their website.Have fun and be safe! let us know how it goes!
