On the first Saturday of every month, the High Museum of Art welcomes Fulton County residents to the Museum for free. Fulton County residents who show proof of residency may view our current exhibitions as well as the Permanent Collection. McCafé Real Fruit Smoothies are being added to the menu of Georgia McDonald’s restaurants – and on July 4, Atlantans will get an exclusive opportunity for a local first taste.  McDonald’s will give Atlantans an exclusive FREE sampling of their new Real Fruit Smoothies this Sunday from 7a.m. – 12 p.m. during the 2010 Peachtree Road Race at the Buckhead McDonald’s restaurant at 2929 Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta, before they debut at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide July 13.

There’s something FREE for every hometown in Georgia as McDonald’s restaurants throughout the state will be adding smoothies to in-restaurant dining and drive-thrus throughout July. McDonald’s owner/operators throughout the state will offer FREE 5-ounce samples of the product Thursday, July 22, Friday, July 23 and Saturday July 24 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Additionally, six lucky fans won McDonald’s “Tweet for a Treat!” contest following the Twitter feed @McDonaldsATL and will receive V.I.P. skybox seating at the Buckhead McDonald’s Restaurant to watch the 2010 Peachtree Road Race in style, along with free food and a year’s supply of free smoothies.
       
Real Fruit Smoothies will be available at all Georgia McDonald’s restaurant locations beginning Tuesday, July 13, 2010. The small 12-ounce smoothie size will be priced at $2.29 and will be available both in-store and in drive-thrus. Available in Strawberry Banana and Wild Berry, each smoothie includes two servings of real fruit and is low in fat and high in Vitamin C. The Real Fruit Smoothies are made from a blend of strawberries, bananas, blackberries and blueberries and can be customized with or without low-fat yogurt.

Arby’s is continuing the Fourth of July festivities by handing out free Junior Deluxe sandwiches on Monday, July 5 at participating restaurants in Atlanta. The sandwiches will be available all day, free with any drink purchase (excluding Value drinks and coffee), a week before it officially hits the Value Menu. The Junior Deluxe features oven-roasted, thinly sliced roast beef, topped with crisp, fresh lettuce and ripe tomato on a toasted sesame seed bun. Arby’s Value Menu starts at $1 and launched in April.

A SERIES OF FREE DEMO CLASSES AT “THE MUSCIC CLASS”!
The Music Class will be offering several days of free demonstration classes the last week of February at their Intown, Sandy Springs and Alpharetta locations. Providing there are no more snow days, the schedule of free classes will be:

All classes will be at 10:00 am.
They had originally scheduled for Feb 27, but had to cancel and use that day as a snow makeup for our regular classes
