midPic_runlikehellnewI couldn’t resist promoting a road race titled RUN Like Hell.  Runners of all ages will Run Like Hell (or like Heck for the kids) through hauntingly beautiful Oakland Cemetery and neighboring Grant Park on Halloween morning, October 31.

This year the course will wind past even more of the magnificent monuments and stately mausoleums of Atlanta’s oldest burial site where such notables as Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones and Maynard Jackson are buried.  Unique “cemetery themed” awards will be presented in multiple categories.

Costumes are encouraged! Plan on participating in our First Annual Costume Contest following the races where more awards will be given!

Ticket prices are $25.  Click here  to sign up and find out more information.

house-b-w_~jba0060 Don’t miss our page of Real Estate Bargains where we feature a different Buckhead home each week that we feel is a great value.  Many of the homes we have listed you will not find on the computer or by driving around as they are quiet listings that we know about thru our Real Estate network.   Many homes even in today’s market sell without a For Sale sign going in the yard.  Working with Anna and Claire you will have access to many of these “quiet listings.”

I recently went and previewed a fabulous quiet listing in the Peachtree Park neighborhood in Buckhead.  It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath brick home with a completely renovated kitchen, two renovated baths and a finished basement.  I loved the large fenced in backyard and the huge family room off the kitchen with vaulted ceilings.  Please contact us at bargainsinbuckhead@gmail.com for more information about this home.
