I couldn’t resist promoting a road race titled RUN Like Hell.  Runners of all ages will Run Like Hell (or like Heck for the kids) through hauntingly beautiful Oakland Cemetery and neighboring Grant Park on Halloween morning, October 31.

 This year the course will wind past even more of the magnificent monuments and stately mausoleums of Atlanta’s oldest burial site where such notables as Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones and Maynard Jackson are buried.  Unique “cemetery themed” awards will be presented in multiple categories.

 Costumes are encouraged! Plan on participating in our First Annual Costume Contest following the races where more awards will be given!

Call me crazy, but when I think of Halloween 2 things come to mind: haunted houses and corn mazes.   So I have been surfing around trying to find pricing and locations of local corn mazes, and came across a great blog that has already done all the homework for me.   Ticket prices range from $7-$13 for adult tickets.    I am featuring Connell and Carlton Farms below for having the best valued admission price of a $7 ticket.
